Police says the girl and her mother were shopping Monday when the toddler began crying. The police report says Stephens approached Ms Mathews and said, 'If you don't shut that baby up, I will shut her up for you.' Authorities say Stephens then grabbed the toddler and slapped the two-year-old girl four times. Police say an examination showed the girl's face was slightly red.
'See, I told you I would shut her up,' he said to the mother after the attack, according to a police report. Stephens got arrested and is now charged with felony cruelty to children after the incident on Monday.

Let's be real y'all,... kids are just totally annoying AND useless.... I sometimes compare them to dogs... they waste your money, they just eat, drink, sleep, make the house dirty and do nothing in return... at least dogs guard your house... and they dont speak to say bullshit !!! :-/
Everybody who knows me, knows I absolutely hate children... (yes, there, i said it !) especially the noisy bratty type... There is nothing worse than taking the plain, or sitting in the bus, or relaxing in a bar and have a noisy-ass-crying kid to spoil your working-adult-quality time !!
I think it would be for their own good if young children would be kept in cages or at least on a leash at all times... or at least there should be some kind of law that forces parents to keep their children quiet in the following situations

a. in all types of "adult-like-places" : shops, airplanes, cinema's, concerts, etc....
b. between 4 PM and 8 PM : when people return from home and are tired and the last thing
they want to hear is baby-screaming

c. whenever their opinion is not needed / asked for / valuable
Countless times i was THIS close to slapping a kid but of course i don't have the guts for it (and i don't want to go to jail either !!!) so i thank Roger Stephens for putting out this very strong signal to all parents... KEEP YOUR KID QUIET or there can be serious repercussions !!!
P.S. Ok, ok, i admit,... there was no need for him the slap the lil' girl FOUR times... i guess just one little slap would have made the message clear...

P.S. he hit the girl 4 times and her face was just "a little reddish" ??? Roger Stephens slaps like a beyoooootch !!! i would have knocked that little crybaby out ! :-p
